Fiber Optic Audio and Control Products

Extron Fiber Optic Audio and Control Products enable centralized processing of audio and RS-232 control signals. A fiber optic audio extractor accepts signals from a FOX Series transmitter, extracts the two-channel audio for independent processing and routing, and then re-transmits the original signal. RS-232 inserters provide a bidirectional fiber optic connection to a FOX Series extender for the insertion and extraction of control data, while maintaining a continuous pass-through link for video and audio.
