Distribution Amplifiers

Extron distribution amplifiers with DTP^® twisted pair outputs are engineered for reliable operation in commercial AV applications. These distribution amplifiers provide digital transmission of video, audio, and control signals up to 330 feet (100 meters) over shielded CATx cable to destinations within an Extron DTP System. They are HDCP compliant and equipped with two Extron-exclusive technologies: EDID Minder^®, which automatically manages EDID communication between connected devices, and Key Minder^®, which authenticates and maintains continuous HDCP encryption. Extron distribution amplifiers with DTP outputs also include other integrator-friendly features such as remote power capability, an input loop-through, automatic input cable equalization, automatic color bit depth management, selectable output muting, and +5 VDC, 250 mA power on the local HDMI output.
