1. Shall provide a fiber optic receiver that support the distribution of HDMI video, stereo audio, USB, RS-232 control, IR control, and 3D sync
   1. Long distance signal extension of digital video with embedded stereo audio, USB, control, and 3D sync signals over multimode fiber optic cabling
   2. Video output requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) female HDMI Type A connector for digital video signals with embedded audio
      2. Shall support the following HDMI 2.0 specification features:
         1. Shall support computer and video resolutions up to 4096x2160 @ 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling
         2. Shall support data rates up to 18 Gbps – 6 Gbps per lane
         3. Shall support 12-bit color bit depth for resolutions up to 4K/60
      3. Shall provide one (1) two-pole captive screw connector on rear panel for a 3D sync signal
   3. Embedded audio output requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) female HDMI Type A connector – shared with video input
      2. Shall support PCM stereo audio formats
      3. Shall support HD lossless audio formats
   4. Analog Audio output requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) 3.5 mm, 5-pole captive screw connector for balanced or unbalanced analog stereo
      2. Shall provide the de-embedding of analog stereo audio
      3. Shall provide capability to mute analog audio
   5. Audio return channel input requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) 3.5 mm, 5-pole captive screw connector for balanced or unbalanced analog stereo
      2. Shall provide an audio return channel for transmission of stereo audio from the receiver to the transmitter over fiber
   6. USB 2.0 output requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) USB Type A connector on the rear panel for peripheral devices
         1. Provide 5 Volts, 500 mA on each port to power a peripheral device
         2. Provide the capability to charge a peripheral device that is connected to a hub port
      2. Shall support USB 2.0, 1.1, or 1.0 devices
      3. Shall support USB 3.0 devices that can operate at USB 2.0 rates
      4. Shall support data transfer rates up to 480 Mbps
   7. USB HID output requirements
      1. Shall provide two (2) USB Type A connectors on the rear panel for peripheral devices
         1. Provide 5 Volts, 100 mA on each port to power a peripheral device
         2. Provide the capability to power a peripheral device that is connected to a USB HID port
      2. Shall support USB HID devices or smart card readers
      3. Shall support data transfer rates up to 480 Mbps
   8. Control requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) female mini USB port B on front panel for setup and configuration
      2. Shall provide one (1) bidirectional RS-232 connector on rear panel for setup and configuration
      3. Shall provide one (1) bidirectional RS-232 connector on rear panel for control pass-through
      4. Shall provide one (1) bidirectional IR control port
      5. Shall support IR remote control pass-through transmission from the receiver to the transmitter for control of source equipment
      6. Shall support IR remote control pass-through transmission from the transmitter to the receiver for control of display equipment
      7. Shall provide one (1) Ethernet port on rear panel for the following functionalities:
         1. Support setup and configuration
         2. Support control signals from a control system
         3. Support Ethernet insertion of RS-232 signals for transmission to a FOX3 endpoint
   9. Interconnection requirements
      1. Shall provide interconnection between transmitter and receiver over multimode fiber optic cabling
      2. Shall provide three (3) LC-type fiber optic connectors for interconnection between transmitter and receiver
   10. Transmission requirements
       1. Shall support extension of video, audio, USB, and control signals over multimode fiber optic cabling
       2. Shall support transmission of uncompressed computer and video at resolutions up to 4096x2160 @ 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling over two fibers
       3. Shall provide a fiber optic signal transmission distance capability of 500 m (1640 feet) over OM4 laser optimized multimode fiber optic cabling
       4. Shall support an optical loss budget of at least 9.7 dB between transmitter and receiver
   11. HDCP requirements
       1. Shall be HDCP 2.2 compliant
       2. Shall include Extron Key Minder® technology to authenticate and maintain continuous HDCP encryption between the input and output devices to ensure quick and reliable switching
       3. Shall support human-readable visual confirmation of HDCP compliance when encrypted content is routed to a non-compliant display
   12. Power requirements
       1. Shall be equipped with an internal, universal AC power supply capable of supporting 100 - 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz power
   13. General requirements
       1. Shall provide visual signal on LED indicators located on the front panel for HDMI video signal presence, HDCP authentication, USB HID presence, USB 2.0 presence, and power
       2. Shall provide visual signal on LED indicators located on rear panel for fiber optic link status, Ethernet link status, and power
       3. Shall have a 1U high, half rack width metal enclosure
       4. Shall be rack mountable with optional rack shelf
       5. Shall be furniture mountable with optional mounting kits
       6. Shall meet regulatory compliance
          1. CE, c-UL, UL
          2. CE, C-tick, FCC Class A, ICES, VCCI
          3. Appropriate requirements of RoHS, WEEE
       7. Shall provide at least three years parts and labor warranty
       8. Shall be compatible with the Extron FOX3 T 301 fiber optic transmitter
       9. Shall be compatible with Extron FOX3 Series fiber optic transmitters
       10. Shall be compatible with Extron FOX3 Series matrix switchers to create an HDCP-compliant signal distribution system up to 2000x2000 and larger
